Changes to Our Service

  • Receive your personal National Library card from 2 September onwards. Helka cards will only be accepted until 30 Nov.
  • Please refer to FAQ about the changes

Library card

If you have logged in to the search service and have your Helka library card connected to the account, you can
  • check and update your customer information
  • renew your loans
  • make reservations
  • pay fines and fees
If you sign in with a Helsinki University user account and have a National Library card connected to your account, you can access to both electronic resources and library card functions with a single sign in.
